Our client is a privately owned, ESG focused, energy technology company that focuses on transforming end of life waste into reusable, virgin quality material. Established for over a decade, they are currently raising capital to drive and accelerate their growth plans as well as working towards an IPO. This is therefore an extremely exciting time to join a rapidly evolving company and create positive social and environmental change.
Description
Reporting directly to the CFO and working as part of a small team, the role is extremely varied and includes the following:
- Corporate finance, joint ventures, licensing agreements and M&A.
- Evaluation of new projects.
- Commercial negotiations.
- Playing a key role in financing activities.

Skills
Candidates are likely to have c. 4 – 6 years of investment banking M&A experience and/or private equity investment experience, probably gaining from a ‘bulge-bracket’ firm, or mid to large buyout firm. In addition, exposure to industrials, renewables or energy deals would be useful. Candidates should be driven, possess very strong financial analysis skills and be comfortable working with lots of responsibility.
