Private Equity Associate; Mid-Market, Pan-European, Generalist; London

Our client, a leading international private equity firm, are building a new mid-market private equity team focusing on investment opportunities in Western Europe. The team are now looking to add associates having brought together an experienced team of investors at mid and senior levels. The associate position will work directly alongside senior colleagues throughout the investment cycle, across origination, execution and portfolio management / monitoring. Candidates should consequently have a combination of strong technical skills, sound commercial acumen and possess the confidence to exchange ideas freely within a small, meritocratic team.
Associates are involved across all aspects of the investment cycle, working directly with senior team members to assist in:
- Research and evaluation of investment opportunities
- Deal structuring and negotiation
- Deal execution
- Portfolio monitoring and management
Candidates should ideally have 2-3 years prior experience in mergers & acquisitions or management consulting. European language skills are not required but are advantageous. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK without restriction, and should be professionally fluent in English.
