Our client is a growing SAAS business in the life science space, looking to expand their Group Accounts team.
Description
The Group Accountant is a pivotal member of the finance team, responsible for overseeing the financial activities of all subsidiary companies within the group. The role’s core responsibilities cover financial control and compliance, management reporting, and external financial reporting. In addition, you will support the FP&A Manager in the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial models. Finally, the successful candidate will assist the Group Financial Controller with ad hoc projects, manage holding company recharges, and conduct ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
Skills
The successful candidate for this Group Accountant role will be a fully qualified accountant with in-depth knowledge of IFRS and experience of preparing financial statements under various accounting standards. You will need strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accurate financial data under strict time constraints. Experience of SAAS businesses and how revenue and contracts operate within a software-as-a-service framework would be very helpful.
