We’re in a clear growth phase: we’ve emerged from successive lockdowns in a strong financial position and we’re proud of the fact that we’ve achieved that without cuts to our headcount. With better times ahead and an ever increasing number of new searches, it’s time to expand our firm.

Our Private Equity team is one of the largest and most experienced in Europe, with a track record spanning more than three decades and thousands of successfully completed searches. Our culture is supportive, nurturing, professional and highly successful. We are active across Europe and our team has fluency in most major European languages.

The Head of Candidate Research is a new role, which points towards the ever-increasing importance that we put on thorough and detailed research of our candidate pools. We commit significant resource to extensive mapping of these pools and have developed a rigorous, search-based approach to all of our work, regardless of the level of candidate sought. Candidate profiles include people from private equity, investment banking/M&A, strategy consulting, accountancy and MBAs from leading business schools.

We are seeking someone with an interest in Executive Search and prior full-time experience working in business services, probably with some exposure to research, customer services and managing a small team of people.

You’re likely to be a university educated, with an interest in private equity and a commitment to excellence and thoroughness in everything that you do. Along with our Consultants and Partners, you will co-manage and train a small team of Researchers, as they progress towards becoming Consultants. This is a career position for an experienced manager, with significant scope to further shape and build our private equity research function.

You will need to be curious and interested in meeting people at all levels, with natural ‘EQ’. Other key attributes include being well organised with an eye for detail, a quick learner, a natural communicator, tenacious, optimistic and highly self-motivated. The ability to manage, motivate and train others is critical.
