Our client is a high-growth, private equity backed technology business that is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Group Financial Controller (GFC) to lead the Group’s financial control, reporting and governance function while supporting the CFO in delivering the business’s strategic, commercial and value-creation agenda.
About
This role combines core GFC responsibilities with commercial and strategic finance activities, reflecting the needs of a private equity-backed business preparing for further growth. The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, ensuring the financial foundation of the business is robust, accurate and scalable, while modernising the finance function for the next phase of growth.
Skills
The successful candidate will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience as a Financial Controller or Head of Financial Reporting within a private equity backed or high-growth environment. Experience gained in technology, SaaS, software, or broader digital businesses will be preferred. It is essential you can demonstrate strong technical accounting and group consolidation expertise as well as the ability to add commercial insight and influence with senior stakeholders.
