Our client is a mid-market Private Equity fund based in Zurich. With over 10+ years of experience, our client has a strong track record investing across the wider industrials space in Europe. The investment team is now looking grow the team with an Associate in order to support the origination and execution capabilities of the team and to help and grow businesses by working closely with management teams.
Description
Our client is looking to hire an Associate to join their team. The successful candidate will join a diverse and highly experienced team working across various aspects of the transaction cycle: origination, due diligence, execution, portfolio management, portfolio monitoring and exit.
Given the team's experience, commercial acumen and a strong technical skill-set are both valued extremely highly and the team will be looking for new recruits to be able to contribute to internal dialogue as well as participating across all aspects of the transaction cycle.
Skills
- The ideal candidate will have between 1-4 years of experience in a deal-related background, including Investment banking, investment experience in startups or mid-cap PE.
- Native German or French fluency is helpful but not required - other European languages could also be considered a strong asset.
- Sector expertise is not required however previous experience in Industrials, Energy & Power, Infrastructure or Natural Resources is additive.
- Candidates should have extensive modelling experience as well as a genuine interest in Private Equity, backed by a sound commercial acumen.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative abilities are essential, and candidates should possess a high-quality academic background, in addition to relevant and applicable professional experience.
