We are working with one of Europe's leading Venture Capital funds. They have an established history of investing in early-stage tech and have produced some of the best-known start-ups in the industry.
This role is office-based, with the option to work remotely part of the week. Compensation is flexible and will be calculated according to the successful candidate.
Description
Despite their scale and success in the industry, the fund finance team remains close-knit and lean in nature, allowing for exposure across a broad set of tasks and responsibilities, including performing commercial analysis around the portfolio's performance and conducting the quarterly valuation process. The core accounting is completed by the US finance team, and the London team's remit is extremely commercial and value-added.

Responsibilities
- Quarterly portfolio monitoring – corresponding with portfolio companies, understanding trends, ensuring company data is accurate and complete and preparing reports to partners summarising company performance
- Maintain fund models, tracking key metrics such as TVPI/RVPI
- Quarterly portfolio company valuations, using a range of valuation models
- Cash management across funds, running the cashflow models
- SPV and fund invoice management
- Ad hoc portfolio and fund analysis as required
Skills
- Educated to degree level
- Newly qualified ACA with experience from a Big 4 / Top 10 Accountancy firm
- Ideally, the appointee will have some experience in auditing/accounting for alternative investment funds
