Our client is a well known global private equity brand, with multiple investment strategies. ESG has been a key consideration across all funds in recent times and that has now evolved into a dedicated vehicle designed to address the climate crisis. The fund will invest in both climate and nature based projects, along with the technologies that support such initiatives.
Based in London, the investment remit is global. We are now seeking an experienced private equity Director, ideally with the following profile:
Description
- Early career training in a leading investment banking M&A team.
- Followed by at least five years or more of direct private equity investment experience, ideally in control buyouts and with a well known brand.
- Significant exposure to and responsibility for the full deal cycle, from initial screening, through execution and portfolio management: an accomplished 'deal quarterback'.
- Ideally involved in Board participation for portfolio companies.
Skills
In addition, previous career touch points around developing economies, infrastructure and renewables, ESG, or impact investing will all be advantageous.
