We have been appointed to assist a rapidly growing fund administrator that provides fund services to top tier private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt funds. Our client works with around 400 funds and has over 500 staff across their global offices.
Description
This role will provide an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant looking to move into industry as the successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, gaining exposure to a range of funds and structures. The appointee will manage a small team of part-qualified accountants, as well as managing their own portfolio of clients. There is strong emphasis on professional development within the company and clear internal progression.
The role involves review, management and responsibility for accounting and administration services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a range of fund accounting and administration services.
- Team leadership and line management.
- Client relationship manager for a portfolio.
- Responsibility of deliverables.
- Audit engagement management and liaison.
- Liaising with third parties.
Skills
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with an ACA/ACCA (or equivalent). Accounts preparation and team management experience are desirable. You must have good verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent attention to detail, a proactive approach and strong organisation skills.
