Our client is a multinational TMT organisation with market leading businesses across several geographies. The Group is committed to continual innovation, delivering cutting edge digital products and services to consumers around the globe.
We have a new mandate to identify a Senior Manager to report to the London based VP within the Group Strategy team. As a key member of the team, you will work on strategic projects that focus on value creation, including driving superior organic growth, opportunistic M&A and improving equity return. Key responsibilities will include leading major strategic/corporate development workstreams or projects, managing junior team members to produce robust quantitative analysis that drives strategic insights and making recommendations around opportunities and threats to the business. In addition, you will play a key role in business planning and synergy quantification for acquisitions, turning analysis into structured material to be presented to key stakeholders. The successful candidate requires a ‘hands-on’ approach and an analytical mindset, coupled with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and the senior executives across the group.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience gained in a strategy consulting firm, working for a blue chip client base. Specific experience in digital content distribution and/or mobile telecoms is of particular relevance. Additional experience in a corporate strategy team would be advantageous, but is not essential. As well as a strong interest in the TMT space, candidates will also need to demonstrate strong financial modelling, analytical, communication skills, and must possess an exceptional academic background.
